Base pay range

$83,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Position Summary

We are hiring a Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our growing design team! This is a great opportunity to contribute to civil engineering projects while building your technical expertise and career.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design of roadway, municipal, and infrastructure projects for both public and private clients
• Supporting preparation of reports, design documents, and technical drawings
• Collaborating with clients, communities, and agencies under the guidance of senior team members
• Participating in quality control and review processes
• Contributing to project teams in a supportive, collaborative environment

Hybrid or Remote

Hybrid arrangements are preferred near our offices in Minnesota, but remote work may be considered for candidates located in states where we are licensed to practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Strong interest in and experience with roadway, municipal, and infrastructure design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in transportation, municipal engineering, or with DOTs
• Familiarity with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or GEOPAK
• Experience working with local or state transportation agencies
