Job summary

EHRA Engineering is seeking a capable civil engineer to join our private-site design team in Houston. You will learn to design utilities and infrastructure for mixed-use and residential developments, creating construction drawings, specs and contract documents in accordance with EHRA standards.

You will work with EITs, project engineers and managers, apply CAD/Civil 3D tools, follow City and County standards, and assist in QA/QC processes while growing technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required; FE/PE preferred.
• Experience with municipal utilities projects and design standards.
• Ability to produce design drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard practices to solve problems.
• Conduct investigations and develop new concepts.
• Write technical reports and presentations.
• Lead specific tasks within the project scope.
• Collaborate with team, clients and staff to achieve goals.
• Supervise Engineers I, designers and interns.
