Job summary

Argus Companies is seeking a Civil Engineer II who builds on Civil Engineer I experience, delivering independent project tasks and applying engineering standards. You will perform design and layout for fuel systems and site infrastructure, review drawings under senior guidance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, while mentoring junior staff and pursuing ongoing education.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu is expected, with travel to project sites and client meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience in design and execution.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and standards.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks with guidance on complex assignments.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication for technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and layout for fuel systems and site infrastructure.
• Prepare and review designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate design efforts with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain project documentation and reports.
• Participate in internal QA/QC processes to ensure deliverables quality.
• Mentor Civil Engineer I staff as appropriate.
• Engage in continuing education to deepen technical expertise.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu to support project designs.
