Bowman is seeking a Civil Engineer I to join our Austin, TX team. This role focuses on evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques on moderately complex land/site development projects, while collaborating with senior engineers and clients.

The position offers an entry-level path with growth opportunities within Bowman, exposure to Civil3D and AutoCAD, and a supportive environment that emphasizes quality, teamwork, and client service in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required at time of employment.
• EIT preferred.
• Entry level position; land/site development experience a plus.
• Familiarity with Civil3D, AutoCAD and stormwater modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize initial civil design approaches for assigned phases of large land/site development.
• Complete civil engineering work for assigned phases of development.
• Assist with plans, specifications and reports development.
• Perform design calculations using CAD software and scripts.
• Support senior engineers, clients and agencies on project tasks.
