Vets Hired is seeking Civil Engineers at I–III levels to support the Highway Design Bureau across multiple districts. Entry-level to senior duties offer diverse exposure with opportunities to advance through in-band and broad-group advancement paths.

Minimum qualifications vary by level, with degrees from accredited institutions and licensure considerations. Statewide travel and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher.
• No experience required for Civil Engineer I.
• 18 months post-baccalaureate experience for Civil Engineer II (when using Bachelor's) / Four years post-baccalaureate for Civil Engineer III.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to transportation for statewide travel.
• MVR must meet minimum standards established by the hiring agency.

Responsibilities

• Civil Engineer I: perform entry-level duties across seven bureaus in Highway Design Bureau.
• Civil Engineer II: perform basic engineering duties for a variety of highway projects.
• Civil Engineer III: supervise and coordinate complex engineering activities for highway projects.
