Lancesoft is seeking a Civil Engineer I in Schenectady, NY. The role focuses on calculating and documenting engineering forces, moments, mass, and center of gravity from turbine-generator interfaces to customer interfaces such as piping and foundations.

The candidate will update standard work procedures and pursue continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration, with 0–3 years of civil engineering experience and a BSCE. 8am-5pm, on-site support in Schenectady.

Qualifications

• BSCE in Civil Engineering with 0–3 years' experience.
• Basic mechanical design principles: forces & moments, Free Body Diagrams, foundation and codes.

Responsabilités

• Calculate and document engineering forces and moments, Mass and CoG from turbine-generator to customer interfaces (piping, foundation).
• Update standard work procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration.
• Support design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
