Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a New Grad Structural Engineer or Structural Engineer in Rock Hill, SC. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days on-site at the Rock Hill facility, with duties spanning design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.

You will grow technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets, work in teams to resolve critical issues, and aim for a P.E./ E.I.T. licensure while prioritizing safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Other disciplines will not be considered.
• 3.0+ GPA
• Passion for Technical Design and Analysis
• Eagerness to learn and master engineering software required.
• Desire to obtain with long term goal of obtaining P.E./ E.I.T.
• Values safety & quality
• Eager to learn the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants
• Able to develop and deliver technical presentations for issues like: project status, problem resolution and engineering recommendations.

Who You Are:

Salary: We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
