Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a New Grad Structural Engineer or Structural Engineer for a hybrid role with 2–3 days on-site. You will contribute to design, construction, operation and decommissioning of nuclear power plants and grow technical expertise for US and international markets.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA, be passionate about technical design and analysis, and eager to learn engineering software

This position is hybrid requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at our facility based in Rock Hill, SC.

The successful candidate can expect to perform the following:

Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.

Grow and develop extensive technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.

Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.* Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with Westinghouse customers

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Other disciplines will not be considered.

3.0+ GPA

Passion for Technical Design and Analysis

Eagerness to learn and master engineering software required.

Desire to obtain with long term goal of obtaining P.E./ E.I.T.

Values safety & quality

Eager to learn the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants

Able to develop and deliver technical presentations for issues like: project status, problem resolution and engineering recommendations.

Salary: We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
