Job summary

CAGE Engineering in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Civil Engineer to design and document land development projects, including stormwater management, site grading, utility design, and code research. You will work under the project engineer to produce construction documents and reports.

You will grow technical skills in CAD Civil 3D, collaborate across disciplines, meet deadlines, and contribute to permit packages while advancing professional development through tuition reimbursement and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university.
• EIT credentials (FE exam) preferred but not required.
• Embraces teamwork and possesses strong communication skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly.
• Must possess a strong desire to learn and advance one's technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce stormwater management calculations, utility design, preliminary and final construction documents, stormwater pollution prevention plans, permit documents, and other reports under guidance.
• Utilizes time management and organizational skills to excel at project tasks.
• Prioritize projects for multiple ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with project subconsultants to obtain necessary information.
• Meet deadlines or inform the project manager in advance if a deadline cannot be met.
• Assist the project team in preparing the project schedule and define the critical path.
• Develop a team-first mentality and support the team as needed.
