Job summary

CAGE Civil Engineering in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the team and contribute to land development projects. The role focuses on producing engineering design documents, calculations, and permit-related reports under the supervision of the project engineer and project manager.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to learn quickly. On-site position with strong growth opportunities, salary range $70,000–$80,000 plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university.
• EIT credentials (passing the FE exam) preferred, but not required.
• Embraces teamwork approach and possesses strong communication skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly.
• Must possess a strong desire to learn and advance one's technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce stormwater management calculations, utility design, preliminary and final construction documents, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and permit documents under guidance of the project engineer and project manager.
• Utilizes time management and organizational skills to excel at project tasks.
• Prioritize project tasks for multiple ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with project subconsultants to obtain necessary information for project design under guidance of the project engineer and project manager.
• Meet deadlines or inform the project manager in advance if a deadline cannot be met due to extenuating circumstances.
• Assist the project team in preparing the project schedule and defining the critical path tasks.
• Develop a team-first mentality and provide discretionary effort to help the team succeed.
