Job summary

NPAworldwide, on behalf of a leading global consultancy, is seeking a Civil Engineer for the Hudson Tunnel Project in New York. The role focuses on design, construction, and delivery of major civil infrastructure, coordinating across disciplines to meet milestones and performance targets.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure, expertise in BIM and project controls, and strong collaboration with stakeholders, agencies, and contractors to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Over 37 years of civil engineering experience on large infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, cost management, and risk management.
• Knowledge of NEPA, Section 106, permitting, and environmental regulations.
• Experience with quality assurance, construction monitoring, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with BIM, PMIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical coordination and field engineering support, including design reviews and constructability assessments.
• Support construction execution by reviewing contractor submittals and coordinating design changes.
• Facilitate stakeholder coordination by managing technical communications and maintaining project documentation.
• Assist with project controls and reporting, including schedule, cost, and risk management.
• Support compliance with PMP, QMP, NEPA, and permitting requirements.
• Contribute to risk and change management through independent evaluations.
• Support BIM and technology initiatives, including PMIS integration.
