Job description

Lexicon offers a unique combination of capabilities. Our services include construction management, fabrication, erection, mechanical installation, and plant maintenance for heavy industrial, commercial, and roadway projects, as well as a full spectrum of golf course construction and management services.

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with EPC experience in the metals and minerals industry to support the design and execution of large-scale industrial facilities and infrastructure. The role will involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality, and on-time projects.

Civil Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support civil/structural engineering activities across design and construction phases.
  • Prepare and review designs, drawings, and technical calculations.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with standards, specifications, and HSE requirements.
  • Work with structural, mechanical, piping, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical support during construction and commissioning.
Civil Engineer Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • 7+ years’ experience in civil engineering, including EPC projects in metals/mining/heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of foundations, earthworks, concrete and steel structures.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar software.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Civil Engineer Physical Demands
  • Primarily office-based with extended computer use.
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting to 25 pounds.
  • Periodic site visits may expose the employee to noise, dust, weather conditions, and construction hazards.
  • Personal protective equipment may be required during site visits.
