Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer entry-level professional to assist in preparing designs, reports, and drawings for various civil projects in the United States. You will work under senior engineers on site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design, while learning codes and contributing to field visits and project coordination.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and 0-3 years of experience, with EIT preferred and PE on track preferred. U.S.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• 0-3 years of civil or structural engineering experience.
• EIT preferred and on track to PE.
• US work eligibility without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of civil engineering designs, reports, drawings, and specifications
• Support senior engineers in the development of site layout, grading, drainage, utility systems, and roadway designs
• Learn design codes and follow established design criteria
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction observations as needed
• Perform calculations for stormwater management, hydrology, and basic structural elements
• Assist with permitting processes, zoning research, and regulatory compliance documentation
• Utilize CAD and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar) to produce plans and technical documents
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., architecture, structural, and MEP engineers) to ensure project objectives are met
• Attend project meetings and contribute to project coordination and scheduling

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher Civil Engineering
• Experience: 0-3 Years of experience working as a civil or structural engineer
• Attained EIT preferred and on track to obtaining a Professional License (PE) preferred
• Must be able to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
• Eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

$65,000 - $100,000 a year
