ISG in Mankato, MN is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our employee-owned firm. You’ll contribute from concept through construction while collaborating with architects, planners, engineers, and construction admins to deliver thoughtful, sustainable solutions that positively impact communities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Civil Engineering.
• Strong communication, project management, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of industry design standards.
• Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with local government process and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams to develop and implement civil engineering strategies that support sustainable, high-performing outcomes.
• Act as a key point of contact, building relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Support projects through contract and construction administration from design through completion.
• Prepare infrastructure master plans, feasibility studies, and technical reports.
• Produce high-quality drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.
• Provide on-site support during construction and resolve field challenges.
• Mentor and lead local ISG team members and promote employee ownership.
