Job summary

PND Engineers seeks a Civil Engineer / EIT for our Kennewick, WA office to work on waterfront, marine, and heavy civil projects across the Pacific Northwest. Early-career engineers will gain broad hands-on experience from design to construction alongside experienced engineers.

The role emphasizes site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure with opportunities for field work, travel, and professional growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
• FE exam passed or EIT certification, or ability to obtain soon after hire.
• Experience with AutoCAD and civil design software.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering analysis and design for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, memos and reports.
• Develop design documents from concept through final construction.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create constructible drawings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary professionals on projects.
• Participate in field investigations, inspections, and surveys.
• Support construction administration and submittals review.
• Assist with engineer estimates and bid documents.
• Travel occasionally for inspections and site work.
