Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Professional Engineer to serve as a Civil Engineer focused on drainage studies, site design, and infrastructure. The role may lead or support multiple projects, including residential subdivisions, commercial developments, and municipal infrastructure.

The successful candidate will design drainage systems using hydrology models, prepare FEMA CLOMRs/LOMRs, and contribute to bids, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Master's degree in water resources engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in hydrology, hydraulics, roadway drainage design, and flood-control management.
• New Mexico PE exam passed or licensed in NM (or eligible).
• Experience with StormCAD, CivilStorm, HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS2D, HEC-HMS, FLO2D or similar software.
• ArcGIS is a plus.
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D; Bentley MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools to design drainage systems and stormwater basins.
• Prepare FEMA CLOMRs and LOMRs.
• Assist with site layout, grading, storm drainage, utilities, and road/parking design.
• Develop drainage reports and master planning, within budget and schedule.
• Lead or support project tasks and business development activities.
