Job description

We’re looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team at our Oklahoma City location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include residential and commercial developments, schools, churches, hospitals, living centers, parks, athletic facilities, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and more.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the project manager in all aspects of design for land development and municipal-related projects, including site planning, grading, paving, water, wastewater, and drainage.
2. Prepare required calculations and reports.
3. Coordinate and oversee the preparation of plans for grading, paving, drainage, and utilities with production staff.
4. Prepare specifications and bid packages.
5. Attend client meetings to ensure the design meets their needs and objectives.
6. Work with governing agencies to gain approval of plans and development documents.

Requirements:

1. B.S. in Civil Engineering.
2. 3+ years of experience in land development and/or municipal engineering.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
5. PE license in Oklahoma is preferred (or the ability to obtain said license in a timely manner).
6. Knowledge of local standards and requirements is also preferred.
7. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks. Excellent presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills are required.
8. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines, be self-directed, exhibit good business judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.
