Civil Engineer – Developer

Location: Outskirts of Birmingham

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

We are looking for an Engineer to join a multi-award-winning developer, working closely with other Engineers and the Technical Director. They are a highly regarded business with offices across the UK and a strong pipeline of developments across their regions.

We are seeking someone with experience developing road and sewer designs within a consultancy or developer, using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and/or PDS. Ideally, candidates should have extensive knowledge of Section 38, 104, and 278 agreements.

Day-to-day duties include:

1. Preparing and coordinating detailed Section 38 and Section 104 designs.
2. Preparing and coordinating external levels drawings and private drainage drawings.
3. Assembling and delivering the civil engineering package.
4. Obtaining Section 38 and Section 104 approvals.
5. Obtaining foundation design approvals.
6. Completing Section 38 and Section 104 agreements.
7. Discharging engineering-related and building-related issues.
8. Arranging for Section 38 and Section 104 maintenance inspections and bond releases.

This role involves both design and coordination, with opportunities for development and coaching in areas you may currently lack experience in.
