Job summary

Technologist, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team supporting the 11th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Washington, DC.

The role focuses on construction planning and management with attention to detail and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Foreign university degrees acceptable.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience developing plans, solutions, and civil designs for facility and infrastructure projects and systems.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance - Requires residency in the US for the past three years.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare construction estimates and project budgets.
• Draft detailed engineering plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage construction activities to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and findings.
