Job summary

Technologist, Inc. seeks an Engineering Technician to support the 11th Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Washington, DC. Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.

You will provide on-site expertise in requirement definition, planning, design development, implementation, and project management for facility and infrastructure projects, with environmental compliance support as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret design and construction standards.
• Understanding of OSHA standards.
• Familiarity with UFCs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site SME support for requirement definition, planning, design development and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Assist with project documentation and construction management for facility and infrastructure projects.
• Offer environmental compliance support for base facilities and infrastructure.

Job description

Technologist, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the 11th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Washington DC (20 MacDill Blvd. SE Washington DC)

Hours of support are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Duties include:

Provide on-site subject matter expertise in performing requirement definition, programming, planning, design development, integration with existing physical infrastructure and other projects, documentation, and project and construction management of facility and infrastructure projects of varying scopes and costs as well as environmental support of the base and facilities. Candidates will be expected to provide technical advice on facility and infrastructure requirements and environmental compliance of varying complexity in support of the 11CES at JBAB.

• Minimum of three (3) years of technical project/construction support.
• Ability to pass background investigation at level of Public Trust.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrable experience with reading and interpreting design and construction standards
• Demonstrable understanding of applicable OSHA standards
• Demonstrable understanding of UFC’s
