Job summary

AMI Consulting Engineers, P.A. is seeking a motivated engineer to join our waterfront team, providing services to a nationwide clientele.

You will work on marine engineering, project management, dive inspections, ROV inspections, underwater imaging, and bathymetric, drone, and lidar surveys, plus topside inspections and reporting. The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, ADCI diver certification or equivalent, 3+ years of inspection experience, and strong communication and computer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is preferred.
• ADCI certified diver or equivalent military qualification.
• 3+ years of inspection experience is preferred.
• EIT/FE Exam Passed is preferred.
• Strong computer and technical ability is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Surveying, bathymetric, imaging, drone, ROV inspection experience is a plus.
• Self-starter with deadline-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Involve in marine engineering and project management.
• Perform dive inspections and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspections.
• Conduct underwater imaging, bathymetric, drone and lidar surveys, and topside inspections.
• Prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.

We are looking for a motivated individual to work with our engineering teams providing services to our diverse nationwide clientele. The candidate will be involved in marine engineering, project management, dive inspections, remotely operated vehicle inspections, underwater imaging, performing marine bathymetric, drone, and lidar surveys, topside inspections, and reporting.

The engineer should possess solid structural engineering skills, be a commercially certified diver, be tech savvy, have good computer skills, have written and oral communication skills, general inspection experience, have impeccable follow through while taking ownership in each project presented. This candidate should also be team oriented, possess a “can-do” attitude, and be eager to learn/develop new technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• ADCI certified diver or equivalent military qualification
• 3+ years of inspection experience
• EIT/FE Exam Passed.
• Strong computer and technical ability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Surveying, bathymetric, imaging, drone, ROV inspection experience a plus
• Self-starter that is deadline driven.

Compensation:
