POSITION - CIVIL ENGINEER - COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

LOCATION - CINCINNATI, OH

Role description:

The Engineering Team at Arcadis is expanding, and the company has a new career opportunity for a Civil Engineer for our Cincinnati, OH office.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with an EIT who is comfortable working on large, complex civil development projects such as hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping complexes, and educational campuses.

Role accountabilities:

1. Assist in the execution of design tasks for civil infrastructure/site development projects, focusing on public and private sector developments.
2. Work with a project team to complete construction documents and related activities.
3. Perform civil engineering design, including site layout, roadway layout, site grading and drainage, utility sizing and layout, stormwater management, and design of retention/detention facilities.
4. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
5. Work with municipalities on permits.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years working on civil development projects for private and/or public sectors.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes.
• BSc in Civil Engineering, EIT certification, actively working towards PE certification.
• Experience working with teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to health and safety.
