Position: Civil Engineer - Commercial Development Projects

Role description:

The Engineering Team at Arcadis is growing, and we have a new opportunity for a Civil Engineer in Cincinnati, OH.

We seek a candidate comfortable working in a project team environment, focused on expanding civil development projects in Ohio. The ideal candidate has their EIT and experience with large, complex projects such as hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational campuses.

Role responsibilities:

1. Assist in design tasks for civil infrastructure and site development projects, including public and private sector developments.
2. Work with project teams to complete construction documents and related activities.
3. Perform civil design tasks such as site layout, roadway design, grading, drainage, utility sizing and layout, and stormwater management.
4. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
5. Work with municipalities on permits.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. At least 4 years of experience in civil development projects for private and/or public sectors.
2. Knowledge of relevant standards and codes.
3. Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, EIT certification, and working towards PE certification.
4. Experience collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
5. Commitment to health and safety.
