Job summary

EuroTech is seeking a Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction projects in Las Vegas. You will collaborate with architects and contractors, prepare budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role combines office design work using CAD (AutoCAD) with on-site progress oversight. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of civil engineering or related field experience; construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software; AutoCAD preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects to develop project plans and designs.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and schedules for construction projects.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits to inspect construction work and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and other professionals involved in the project.
• Review project plans and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
• Use CAD software to create detailed designs for construction projects.
• Develop solutions for any design or construction issues that may arise.
• Ensure proper documentation of all project activities.
