Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Civil Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join our project teams.

You will help create land development plans for commercial, residential and institutional clients, contributing from concept through regulatory review and construction. You will design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater facilities, water quality BMPs, and utilities, while coordinating with clients, contractors and local government officials at every

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required; M.S. preferred.
• 5–8 years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to speak and write professionally.
• E.I.T. or P.E. licensure required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or HEC-RAS.

Civil Engineer / Assistant Project Manager

Overview

As a Civil Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Tucson, AZ office you'll work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, residential, and institutional clients. From a hospital parking lot to an entire lifestyle shopping center, you'll take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you'll impact the whole project – from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (M.S. a plus)
• 5‑8 years' professional engineering experience
• Ability to speak and write professionally
• E.I.T. or P.E.
• Proficiency in computer modeling software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D or HEC‑RAS
