Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and development of civil engineering projects, including site development and land development projects.
  • Perform engineering calculations related to grading, drainage, utilities, and site design.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to prepare and modify design plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and drafters to bring projects from concept through construction.
  • Research design requirements, regulations, and engineering standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and design recommendations.
  • Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Follow all company safety standards and best practices.
  • Take on increased project responsibilities as experience and knowledge develop.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Strong interest in Site Design, Land Development, or Civil Infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred
  • Experience with Civil 3D.
  • Knowledge of drainage, grading, stormwater management, and site development principles.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
