Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in the Belleville, IL and St. Louis, MO area. You will develop PS&E and support transportation projects for public and private clients while coordinating with licensed professional engineers.

The candidate must hold a PE license, have 3–7 years of civil experience, be familiar with DOT standards, and be proficient in MS Office, MicroStation/ORD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.
• 3-7+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Familiarity with DOT and Regulatory Agency standards.
• Good and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop PS&E documents (plans, specifications, and estimates).
• Perform transportation engineering tasks for private, municipal, county, and state agencies as part of a team.
• Collaborate with licensed professional engineers.

SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

Location: Belleville, IL and St. Louis, MO

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Responsibilities / Duties

• Responsible for the development of engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E).
• Work as part of a team to complete general transportation engineering services for private, municipal, county, and state agencies.
• Work with licensed professional engineers.

Position Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
• 3-7+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Familiarity with DOT and Regulatory Agency standards.
• Good and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.
• Working knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
