Job summary

DuBois & King, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager & Regional Manager to lead and grow the Bangor, Maine office, strengthening its Public Works practice across water resources, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure.

You will guide a team with 15+ years of civil/environmental engineering experience, build client relationships in Maine, and oversee project delivery from concept through construction. This role offers leadership growth and a path to broaden regional impact.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Civil or Environmental Engineering P.E. license.
• Experience with environmental permitting is a plus.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and project management support to the Regional Director.
• Provide management and technical development of civil projects with emphasis on municipal and industrial water and wastewater.
• Develop business and build client relationships throughout Maine.
• Lead project teams in designing and managing projects through construction.
• Oversee work, quality control, client coordination and daily operations of projects.
• Prepare regulatory permit applications for a wide range of projects.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and project schedules that adhere to deadlines and budgets.
• Work with the director to develop and maintain the Bangor office.
• Mentor and train junior engineers on project assignments.
• Share accountability with the team within the division.

The Public Works teamserves communities acrossNewEngland,specializingin water resources, public infrastructure,stormwaterand wastewater management, and site planning anddevelopment.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and project management support to the Regional Director
• Provide management and technical development of a variety of civil projects with a strong emphasis on municipal and industrial water and wastewater
• Develop business and build client relationships throughout Maine
• Lead project teams in preparing conceptual, preliminary and final design and managing projects through construction
• Oversee work, quality control, client coordination and all daily operational aspects of projects assigned to you
• Prepare regulatory permit applications for a wide range of projects
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and project schedules that adhere to deadlines and budgets
• Work alongside the director to develop and maintain the Bangor office
• Mentor and train junior engineers on various project assignments
• Share accountability with the other team members within the division

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Civil or Environmental P.E. license
• Previous leadership and project management experience
• Experience with environmental permitting is a plus

Compensation Range:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $175,000, plus employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
