• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of civil/site or land development experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Familiarity with local and state permitting processes.
• EIT or PE preferred, but not required, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering plans and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Develop stormwater management and erosion/sediment control plans.
• Design water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and other site infrastructure.
• Assist with hydrologic/hydraulic calculations and drainage analysis.
• Prepare permit and entitlement packages for local and state agencies.
• Coordinate with architects, surveyors, landscape architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review project requirements, zoning criteria, and applicable development standards.
• Support projects from initial concept and due diligence through permitting and construction.
• Assist with technical reports, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Respond to agency and client review comments and revise plans accordingly.

Job Details

We are seeking a Civil Land Development Engineer / Designer with 2+ years of experience to support commercial, residential, industrial, and/or mixed-use development projects. This individual will be responsible for civil site design, plan production, permitting, and coordination throughout the development process.
