Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) for a Northern Nevada, USA opportunity. You will own civil design packages, lead project delivery, and work hands-on with AutoCAD Civil 3D across industrial, infrastructure and energy projects.

Requires a PE licence in at least one US state, Nevada reciprocity, and 10–15+ years of civil engineering experience. DOE salary range applies, with a strong emphasis on land development and utilities.

Qualifications

• PE licence in at least one US state.
• Willingness to obtain Nevada PE reciprocity (active NCEES record desirable).
• 10-15+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong background in land development, site development, industrial facilities, mining, public works, utilities or large infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on AutoCAD Civil 3D experience producing and amending civil designs.
• Experience owning civil design packages from concept through construction.
• Experience managing external engineering consultants and coordinating project delivery.
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) experience is advantageous but not essential.

Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer (PE)

Day to Day

We're recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading organisation looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to take ownership of complex civil design projects from concept through to construction. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Professional Engineer who remains hands-on with design while also leading project delivery.

In this role, you will:

• Own civil design packages from concept through construction.
• Produce and amend designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Develop site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities and earthworks designs.
• Support permitting, entitlements and land development activities.
