Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license required; CADD experience preferred but not required.

The Axel Group is seeking a Civil Engineer for our client’s team. This is a direct-hire, on-site role supporting a variety of civil engineering initiatives, including stormwater management, capital improvement programs, and recreation-related infrastructure. In this position, you’ll assist with project development from early investigation and design through construction administration—supporting field surveys, engineering calculations, plan preparation, and coordination with project stakeholders. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to Planning/Zoning Board review processes for private development projects while working closely with internal project teams and external partners to help keep deliverables on track.
