Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Kearney office. This mid-level role focuses on designing municipal infrastructure, preparing plans and bid documents, and coordinating with clients and regulators. • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design fundamentals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent.
• Effective written and verbal communication with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering plans and construction documents for municipal infrastructure projects including water supply systems, wastewater systems, stormwater management, transportation, and site development.
• Perform engineering calculations, hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, and technical studies in support of project design.
• Prepare project reports, specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents.
• Provide construction observation and administration support to ensure projects are built in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subconsultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with grant and funding applications in support of community infrastructure initiatives.
• Collaborate with surveyors, planners, and architects across disciplines to deliver comprehensive project solutions.

What You Will Do
