Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer within 1 year or ability to obtain
  • 5-10 years of experience in Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement civil engineering strategies for projects
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Support projects through contract and construction administration
  • Prepare infrastructure master plans and technical reports including stormwater analyses
  • Produce engineering drawings and specifications with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS
  • Provide on-site technical support during construction
  • Mentor and lead local ISG team members

ISG is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be an ISG Employee Owner, working alongside a passionate group of professionals to deliver thoughtful, innovative, and community-impacting solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to projects from concept through construction while building lasting relationships with teammates and clients.

You will work closely with Jerremy Foss, PE, CNUA, Civil Engineering Group Leader, and collaborate with a highly integrated, in-house team that includes architects, planners, engineers, visualization specialists, specification writers, and construction administrators. This team-based approach allows you to focus on great design, technical excellence, and professional growth—without silos.

Essential Duties
  • Partner with project teams to develop and implement civil engineering strategies that support innovative, sustainable, and high-performing project outcomes
  • Act as a key point of contact, building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and local, state, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth project coordination and compliance
  • Support projects through contract and construction administration, contributing to quality, constructability, and successful delivery from design through completion
  • Prepare and contribute to infrastructure master plans, feasibility studies, and technical reports, including stormwater management analyses as applicable to project needs
  • Produce high-quality engineering drawings, details, specifications, and schedules using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS to bring concepts to life
  • Provide technical expertise and on-site support during construction, helping resolve field challenges and ensuring design intent is achieved
  • Embrace ISG’s culture and values by working collaboratively, sharing knowledge, and supporting firm-wide goals and objectives
  • Serve as a mentor and leader to local ISG team members, modeling professionalism, technical excellence, and a commitment to employee ownership

Essential Duties
