Job summary

RecruitPod Global is seeking a Civil Engineer I (PE) to join our established civil engineering and land surveying practice serving public and private clients across the DFW Metroplex and Texas. You will contribute to residential, multifamily, commercial, industrial, and retail developments from master planning to final delivery.

Responsibilities include design, analysis, project coordination, and producing construction documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• 4–8 years of progressive civil engineering experience after graduation.
• Strong experience with land/site development, residential/multifamily/commercial/master-planned developments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater/hydraulic modelling software.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineer I (PE) to join an established civil engineering and land surveying firm serving public and private clients throughout the DFW Metroplex and Texas. The firm works on a variety of residential, multifamily, commercial, industrial, and retail developments, supporting projects from master planning through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design, analysis, and project coordination with general supervision.
• Lead smaller to moderate projects or key components of larger projects.
• Prepare and review designs for site development, grading, drainage/stormwater, utilities, and paving.
• Sign and seal engineering deliverables while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Develop engineering calculations, layouts, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with survey teams to incorporate field data into engineering designs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil design/modelling software throughout project development.
