Responsibilities

• Coordinate project tasks, support planning studies, perform calculations, review survey data, and assist with permitting and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and CAD technicians, attend project meetings, and respond to technical questions from clients and reviewing agencies.
• Support construction phase services such as submittal review and field observations.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role is based in either our Springdale, AR or our Centerton, AR offices and involves working on a variety of municipal and private development projects. The Civil Engineer will perform design and analysis for water, wastewater, streets, storm drainage, and site development, preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating project tasks, supporting planning studies, performing calculations, reviewing survey data, and assisting with permitting and regulatory submissions. The role includes collaborating with project managers, surveyors, and CAD technicians, attending project meetings, and responding to technical questions from clients and reviewing agencies. The Civil Engineer will also help monitor project schedules, contribute to quality control reviews, and support construction phase services such as submittal review and field observations.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills for infrastructure, site development, and utility projects.
• Planning skills to support project scoping, feasibility studies, and coordination with agencies and stakeholders.
• Stormwater Management skills for drainage design, hydrologic/hydraulic calculations, and compliance with local and state regulations.
• Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field; EIT certification preferred and PE license in Arkansas (or ability to obtain) is a plus.
• Proficiency with civil design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and standard engineering tools for calculations and analysis.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work on-site in Springdale, AR, collaborate effectively with team members, and occasionally visit project sites.
