Herbert E. MacCombie, Jr., P.E., Consulting Engineers and Surveyors, Inc. seeks a licensed professional engineer with municipal experience to join our team at our Marple and/or Valley Township offices.

The candidate will make major design determinations under senior engineers, with responsibilities spanning MS4 permitting, land development, and subdivision review. Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 7–10 years of experience in commercial, retail, and residential

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license required.
• 7-10 years of related experience with commercial, retail, and residential subdivision and land development design and/or review.
• Experience with site layout design including grading, drainage, erosion & sedimentation control, sanitary sewer, and stormwater management.
• Familiarity with Federal, State, & County regulations pertaining to approval process.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Municipal Plan Review for Zoning, Subdivision and Land Development.
• Performing and/or supervising all aspects of project efforts.
• Project budget tracking.
• Quality assurance and quality control of projects.

Herbert E. MacCombie, Jr., P.E., Consulting Engineers and Surveyors, Inc. is in search of a Licensed Professional Engineer, with Municipal experience. Serve on our team as a capable and efficient engineer and make major design determinations under the general direction of the Senior Engineers at our Marple and/or Valley Township offices. Experience should include but not be limited to Chapter 102, NPDES, Chapter 105 permitting, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) permitting and reporting, as well as Subdivision and Land Development.
