Civil Site Design Engineer — Edison, NJ Area

Join a growing, forward-thinking civil engineering firm in the Edison, NJ area that specializes in land development and site design projects across commercial, residential, and municipal markets. We’re seeking a Civil Site Design Engineer who is passionate about creating practical, sustainable, and well-designed infrastructure solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Perform civil/site design for land development projects including grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and roadway layouts
• Prepare construction documents, site plans, and engineering reports
• Support permitting and coordination with local and state agencies (NJDEP, NJDOT, municipal authorities)
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and planners throughout all project phases
• Assist with client communication and occasional field/site visits

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (EIT preferred; PE a plus)
• 3–25+ years of civil/site design experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (HydroCAD or similar a plus)
• Working knowledge of New Jersey land development standards and permitting
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
