SMMA is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Site Design team in Cambridge, MA. This role offers the chance to work with senior team members on diverse projects throughout all phases, from concept design to construction documentation.

Job description

SMMA is seeking a Civil Engineer to join SMMA’s Site Design team, a talented group of designers and problem-solvers. This position is for an engineer that will work with senior team members on site design through all phases of a project. Given SMMA’s integrated and multidisciplinary composition, the role affords a chance to coordinate and work closely with staff across numerous areas of design expertise and provides exposure to a variety of project and client types.

The candidate will be active throughout projects’ full lifecycles, from concept design to final construction documents, and during construction administration. The position includes environmental permitting applications and processes at federal, state, and local levels.

This position may be based in our Cambridge, MA; Providence, RI; or Manchester, NH office.

The approximate pay range for Cambridge, MA is $80,000 - $100,000.
