Job summary

CRF Engineering in Southern California seeks a Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in land development, grading and drainage for residential, commercial and industrial sites. The role requires collaboration with architects and surveyors and reading diverse project documents to integrate data into grading plans.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, 4+ years of relevant work experience, and proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D; EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Bachelor's degree, EIT preferred.
• 4 years of recent work-related experience minimum.
• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Concise and effective communication via phone, email, and in person.
• Responsible for their work.
• Experience designing grading and drainage plans for construction; setting up sheets, general notes, grading design, construction notes, cross sections, construction details for hillside and commercial sites.
• Experience drafting topographic surveys & Alta Surveys.
• Experience in WQMP & LID calculations.
• Experience in Hydrology/Hydraulics Reports.
• Experience problem solving within design and construction.
• Experience setting up construction staking exhibits; coordinating with Architects, Surveyors, and other civil engineering disciplines.
• Experience reading project documents such as soils report, structural plans, architectural plans, landscape architectural plans, etc. for data integration to grading and drainage plans.

CRF Engineering is seeking for an individual with recent work experience in the General Civil Engineering field for land development. We focus on Professional Land Surveying, Mapping, Subdivision and Civil Engineering for new builds, additions, etc. in all Southern California for residential, commercial and industrial sites.

We expect applicants to meet the following criteria for this new position:

• Civil Engineering Bachelor's degree, EIT preferred.
• 4 years of recent work-related experience minimum.
