This position is based in Austin, TX, with a salary range of $70,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr.

Job Description

This role involves planning and designing water pumping stations, lift stations, reclaimed water facilities, surface water, groundwater, and wastewater treatment plants for private and public clients. Responsibilities include creating layouts, detailed designs, plans, specifications, and estimates, as well as performing hydraulic analyses, developing hydraulic profiles, and coordinating with CADD technicians for construction plans. The candidate will serve as a technical resource for EITs and PEs with 1-5 years of experience, assisting in design and document production. Candidates should be able to seal their own plans in their areas of expertise and are encouraged to pursue growth into management roles.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer License in the U.S., or ability to obtain Texas license within 6 months if not licensed in Texas
• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Effective communication and technical writing skills
• Self-starter and results-oriented attitude
