Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking a motivated Civil EIT to join a collaborative engineering team delivering land development and infrastructure projects in Scottsdale, AZ and Grand Rapids, MI. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• At least 2 years of professional civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
• Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of land development design principles and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs and construction plans for commercial, residential, and infrastructure-related projects.
• Create detailed site layouts and technical drawings addressing grading, drainage, stormwater systems, utilities, and roadway improvements.
• Apply AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to produce design documents and calculations.
• Evaluate project requirements, site conditions, regulatory guidelines, and technical information to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, consultants, and external stakeholders to coordinate design activities and deliverables.
• Support construction-phase activities, including technical documentation, contractor inquiries, plan revisions, and field observations.
• Maintain accurate project records, incorporate engineering feedback, and help deliver quality work within established schedules.

Skill Set:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft productivity tools and Bluebeam software to support daily operations and project-related tasks.
• Familiarity with land development design principles, engineering calculations, construction documentation, and applicable design standards.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
