Job summary

Fleis & VandenBrink (F&V) in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Civil EIT to support municipal projects and civil infrastructure design under the direction of the Project Manager.

You will perform CAD drafting in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, assist with analysis, cost estimates, and construction inspections, and you must have a BS in Civil Engineering with at least one year of municipal experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ years of municipal experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred;Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design civil infrastructure projects under the direction of the Project Manager.
• CAD drafting for municipal and land development projects.
• Assist in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects.
• Assist with civil engineering projects including needs and feasibility studies, asset management, stormwater management and preparation of technical reports and documentation.
• Assist with preparation of quantity takeoffs and preparation of construction cost estimates.
• Assist with inspection of construction projects, infrastructure condition assessments, and survey as needed.
