Coli Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Lead Foreman - Civil Division in New Jersey to lead excavation projects from start to finish. You will guide a crew, coordinate with other teams, and ensure projects are on time, on budget, and meet the highest safety standards.

• Train team members on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Schedule manpower.
• Maintain equipment service and maintenance logs.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of excavation crews.
• Inspect job sites, equipment, and progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to plan project procedures.
• Order and track materials and supplies as needed.
• Accurately locate, measure, and mark site locations for structures and equipment.
• Coordinate work activities with other subcontractors (i.e., paving, curbing, flatwork, landscaping).
• Shoot grades.
• Train team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Schedule manpower.
• Maintain equipment service and maintenance logs.
• Report any accidents or incidents to management promptly.

Pay

In accordance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this role is $100,000 – $150,000, based on experience and qualifications.
