Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Civil Designer to assist with civil design and land development for utility-scale solar, energy storage, and power generation projects. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or related field, along with 7 years of experience. Responsibilities include design, planning, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

This role offers a competitive salary of $100,000 to $155,000 annually and an extensive benefits package including participation in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and a 401(k) retirement program.

Qualifications

• 7 years of related experience or an Associate Degree with 8 years of related experience.
• 9 years progressive detailing and design experience required.
• Expert knowledge in design, calculations, and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site civil design and land development.
• Develop drawings for production and analyze topographical data.
• Execute civil design assignments and quality assurance reviews.
