Job summary

Primoris Pipeline is seeking a Civil Designer to join our pipelining group in Houston, TX. Successful candidates will have experience with the latest Civil 3D software and be proficient in grading work using Civil 3D.

You will create grading models, run cut and fill analyses, and prepare materials lists while collaborating with the engineering team. Excellent communication and organization are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Prior grading work using Civil 3D.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD Design.
• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create Grading models and plans using Civil 3D software.
• Run cut and fill analysis and prepare materials lists based on site soil conditions.
• Coordinate with engineering team and other disciplines throughout projects.

• Run cut and fill analysis as well as be able to put together materials list based on site specific soil conditions.
• Work closely with engineering team and coordinate with other disciplines through duration of projects.
• Maintain records of revisions and markups through scope of project.

Required Qualifications:

• Prior grading work using Civil 3D
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD Design.
• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task from project to project.
• Exceptional organization skills
• Works well in team environment with good communication skills both verbal and written.
