The team at THD Design Group provides Civil Engineering Design, Geotechnical Engineering, Land Surveying, and Construction Management for both the public and private sectors. Our expertise, combined with state-of-the-art technology, enhances each project's efficiency and accuracy. We offer the necessary expertise and technology to execute a project from preliminary design and mapping to the final design stage, ready for bidding and construction. We also provide construction support through plan clarification and coordination with contractors and field surveyors.

Our engineering staff has delivered economical and efficient designs for a wide range of projects, including single-family residential, large commercial and industrial developments, and municipal projects.

THD Design Group is seeking an Experienced Civil Designer / Engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare design plans for residential subdivisions and commercial sites.
2. Collaborate with project managers and clients on the design of subdivisions, multi-family residential complexes, and commercial and industrial site plans.
3. Develop or modify deliverables based on rough sketches, marked-up copies, and detailed verbal instructions.
4. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software daily.

Experience:

• Six years of civil site plan and/or residential construction design experience required.
• Six years of AutoCAD software experience required.
• Six years of Civil 3D software experience required.
• Familiarity with MSD, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County highway standards preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Effective communication via email and verbally.
