Thomas & Hutton seeks a Civil Engineer Designer EIT III to bring independent judgment to complex civil designs. You will prepare design calculations, analyses, and construction documents across drainage, water, wastewater, and pavement design, with client contact and mentoring toward PE licensure.

You will use Civil 3D and AutoCAD, contribute to cost estimates, and coordinate with project teams. This on-site role offers growth through TH University mentoring and a supportive environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience designing land development projects using Civil 3D.
• Passed FE/EIT certification; eligible to sit for the PE exam where state rules allow.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple complex tasks and thrive with reduced day-to-day oversight.

Responsabilidades

• Use independent judgment to prepare design calculations and engineering analyses.
• Independently prepare portions of construction plans, specifications, reports, studies, and cost estimates.
• Prepare drawings and details using CADD tools and company graphics standards.
• Assist Project Engineer/PM with cost proposals, project schedules, and cost estimates.
• Maintain moderate client contact and participate in meetings with clients or agencies.
• Coordinate with project team to determine schedule and budget requirements.
• Mentor toward PE licensure and participate in reviews of completed work.
