Job summary

DOWL is seeking a Civil Designer Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Phoenix to join our civil/site development team. You’ll support site layout, grading, utility plans, and construction details under supervision, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools on diverse public and private projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT/EI certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil/site design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Site layout and grading under supervision.
• Utility plans and profiles development.
• Street plans, tentative plans, and construction plans.
• Storm calculations and erosion control planning.
• RFI/submittal review and construction observation.
