Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Civil Designer (Design Associate) in Arkansas to perform complex drafting tasks and contribute to multidisciplinary land development projects. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of drafting and design experience and proficiency in Civil 3D, with a degree in drafting or related field preferred.

You will work on detailed design, project documentation, cost estimates, and client meetings as needed, while guiding less experienced staff and ensuring quality across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in drafting or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of drafting and design experience.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D software; experience in grading, surface creation, analysis, and utility design.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team; strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed design work on projects, preparing drawings and layouts.
• Reviews project specs and performs design calculations.
• Performs CAD tasks and ensures designs align with project objectives and quality standards.
• May supervise and review work of less experienced staff.
