Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Designer to design civil infrastructure for data centre sites, producing coordinated Civil 3D models and site layouts.

You will develop and publish construction documents, maintain templates, and collaborate with multiple teams to meet schedules in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 5+ years engineering experience and 4+ years with Civil 3D; familiarity with BIM workflows and building design updates is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 4+ years using Civil 3D for BIM content, site/campus layouts, drawings.
• Experience integrating Revit with Civil 3D and updating building designs.

Responsibilities

• Design civil infrastructure of data centre sites and create/maintain Civil 3D models.
• Prepare detailed Civil site layouts and construction documents.
• Publish and maintain templates and ensure quality across Civil 3D workflows.
• Coordinate design with other trades and participate in clash detection.
• Travel to data centre sites for evaluations and surveys (1–2 times/year).
• Support information exchange in a Common Data Environment (CDE).
